Review
"A smart movie for a fool, while the rest of us are deeply disappointed with your idiotic deception and 5 star ratings again, I'm perfectly happy to just spend another £15 for a night easily ruined by your sleazy taste.
I suspected from the start that despite the expensive exterior and the potential for gold, it's possible that the creators just stumbled upon this amazing idea and took it as far as they could, not understanding or knowing what to do with it and how their imaginations would run throughout the third or fourth part, its destruction, before the destruction, everything. Showing only its true B-movie heart, sadly stealing the high heels, the obvious self-destruction of futility, and suddenly tired of the complete breakdown, the waste of everything that built up to this clueless conclusion and insult, choosing instead to continue the lineage into its 80s, which horrifies and amazes me all over the world. Still getting on the plane after the embarrassment, thinking differently, but here we are, combined as the 5 stars like any other Hollywood star, who makes you love... Guess it's the curse of being above this crap, but I'm tired of buying so many movies I hate, I don't watch TV at all, so I still bloody trust you over and over again, sigh.
Aside from that, it works like this..;
Beautifully shot, the high production value allows it to be a rarefied style that is confirmed by its artistic nature, and the basic story is mostly told with a quick and satisfying charm, keeping you curious for a lifetime as you want to follow the envious sequel for its cheesy twists and turns and its refreshing air of fresh air. It’s the same strong quality that I found to be a letdown in the film’s later parts, where it aches at not knowing what to do with itself, clearly an idea that comes from a good start but still lacks the crescendo it deserves to do justice to this opening and fascinating exploration of, I’ve already mentioned, chaos and pain. Its betrayal is creative and risks taking root, so much so that, having started out loving the film for the most part, I’ve turned into a deep-seated dislike of it, not believing that those final chapters stray too far, riding it out for its own good while leaving nothing to be desired from its bare skeleton.
Still worth a watch, it was great until the last third or so, it really lost me from then on... A little heartbreaking and a shame because this could have been a complete classic, but sadly the whole idea, while so strange, lacked substance.
